What is North Queensland Christian Convention?
North Queensland Christian Convention is an opportunity to gather as followers of Jesus Christ for a weekend of hearing God’s word, praising him in song, speaking with him in prayer and encouraging one another with fellowship.

Meet the Speaker:
Simon Manchester
Simon Manchester is coming to speak as our guest preacher at NQCC this year. He will be speaking about ‘Life on the Edge’ with four talks from Deuteronomy.
Simon’s preaching biblical and pastoral and he is well known as a gospel preacher in Australia and the UK.
He worked for a number of years at a significant church in London – St Helen’s Bishopsgate. He was then rector of St Thomas’ North Sydney, a very large church, from 1989 for over 30 years.
Local Speakers
In addition to our special guest speaker we have a number of local pastors who will be speaking at NQCC 2024.
Our local speakers will be looking at Gospel Generosity and speaking from various passages.

Daniel is a Minister at Fairfield Baptist Church in Townsville
Kids Program
During both morning sessions, there is a structured children’s program for ages Prep – Yr 6 which includes Bible teaching, craft and games and a creche for 1-4 yr olds. There will also be something specific for youth during the second talk on Saturday and Sunday .All leaders will have appropriate Childsafe training and approvals.
